My life’s motto is simple: Love God + Love People + Be Creative
A few of my favorite things are my family, the beach, my church, sports, sweet iced tea, a good book, flower beds, and red velvet cake.
I’m married to my best friend; Rudy and we have three children, Ashton, Maci, and Stanley, who love life and believe everyday is a party! We also have an adopted daughter, Andreia better known in our house as Dre’a. In our house we are real, we create, we make mistakes, we have fun, we say I’m sorry, we are really loud, we love deeply and we make memories!
I am passionate about the local church. I have been serving full time at The Family Church in Lafayette, Louisiana since 2004. I oversee the Creative Arts Teams and humbled that I get to create for the church and help others develop their creative gifts. I pray I never lose the wonder that I get to use my gifts and talents to introduce people to Jesus.
I got my start in Creative Arts, not by searching to be the next creative, but instead, looking for opportunities to share Jesus in my local church. By simply just saying yes, learning new skills, and trying new things.
My life’s purpose is to inspire and encourage others to discover their creative calling, leaving their unique mark on the world. I believe whole-heartedly there is no one in the world exactly like you, and this world needs you to be YOU – uniquely creative and wonderfully YOU. The word of God says that we are called to be influencers for Him. You and me were created by God, the ultimate creator, therefore, we are all creative!
So, take the message in your heart, draw inspiration from it and create something that will spread His Love to the ends of the earth.
